Getting around Siesta Key, Florida during the winter snowbird season can be a challenge.    The traffic jams can make you not want to fly too far.  Here is your solution…

When planning your next winter, spring, summer, or fall getaway you should take into consideration Siesta Key’s South Village where our beachfront, condo rental, Unit 402 at the House of the Sun is located.  It is ideally situated so that you don’t need a car and you and your family can walk to all kinds of fun activities, bars, restaurants, shops and more.

To get started, on-site, right outside your door is the #1 Beach in the U.S.A. with quartz, talcum powder, soft sand that never gets hot. It is considered heaven on earth for many of our guests. Prefer a pool?  Our heated pool feels great on a cooler day and has lots of lounge chairs to sit and enjoy as well. Our game room has fun activities for the whole family including ping-pong and gaming hook up for its big screen.   A beachfront tennis and pickleball court are available too.  As the day comes to an end witness incredible sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico from one of our two soaring, beachfront, sundecks. Gather with your loved ones and watch the giant, burnt orange sphere disappear into the horizon and witness the sky burst into colors. Incredible moments like these are what many of us dream of and our guests return for.

Once the sun has set, dine in our unit’s fully equipped kitchen, or in one of the many restaurants a short walk from Unit 402 at the House of the Sun.  Big Water Fish Market, Captain Curt’s, Sneaky Tiki, City Pizza, Spearfish Grill, Claytons and more are nearby.

If you’re looking to find activities outside the resort you don’t have to go too far. Within walking distance and across the street you will find just about every playful activity: boat rentals, sunset cruises, jet skiing, fishing, bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, and scooter rentals. Along with restaurants, bars, coffee and ice cream shops, boutiques, a pharmacy, a post office, and the Crescent Grocery Market.

If you want to visit the main village or the public siesta beach, just 1.8 miles north of us, take the Free Siesta Breeze Trolley or one of the tips only car services that will stop right by the resort.  It’s a fun way to see Siesta Key without needing a car.
